This is an Information Meeting with a Question and Answer Session. The purpose of this type of meeting is for the NRC to share information and discuss applicable regulatory issues and NRC actions with meeting attendees.
Purpose:
The purpose of this Town Hall Meeting is to allow the Quality Assurance (QA) and Vendor Inspection staff to engage in an open dialogue with external stakeholders to discuss any current issues of importance to the nuclear industry, and to provide guidance and clarification on those questions. The goal of the Town Hall Meeting is to keep the external stakeholders informed on activities related to vendor inspection, QA, etc.
The majority of the Town Hall Meeting will be dedicated to an open Q&A session where you will have an opportunity to ask questions to the NRC staff on a variety of topics (e.g., 10 CFR Part 21, ASME, commercial-grade dedication, equipment qualification, ILAC, supplier oversight, licensing, digital upgrades vendor oversight plan, 10 CFR 50.69, etc.).
