June 6, 2023 MEMORANDUM TO THE PARTIES IN: PACIFIC GAS AND ELECTRIC COMPANY (Diablo Canyon Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation)
Docket No. 72-26-ISFSI-MLR This is to inform the participants that Chair Christopher T. Hanson toured Diablo Canyon Power Plant and Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation on Thursday, June 1, 2023. This was a routine plant visit to obtain a general familiarity with the facility. The Chair did not engage in any substantive discussion during the site visit about any of the issues that have been raised in the ongoing adjudicatory proceeding pertaining to the Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation.
On the same date, the Chair met with representatives of Engineers and Scientists of California Local 20 and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union No. 1245.
He also met with Employee Resource Groups and Cal Poly Nuclear Program participants.
These meetings focused on issues of general interest and did not include any substantive discussion of contested issues.
