Dear Mirela Gavrilas:
The purpose of this letter is to submit to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), a listing of companies for Telecommunications Electronic Materials Protected from Emanating Spurious Transmissions (TEMPEST) reviews as Enclosure 1, for review and approval.
American Centrifuge Operating, LLC (ACO) would like to begin discussions with one of these companies as soon as possible to meet the TEMPEST requirements noted during the NRC Information Security Inspection at Bethesda, Maryland earlier this year. Additionally, other TEMPEST work is needed in our Oak Ridge, Tennessee facility and may be required at the Piketon, Ohio site as well. contains Security-Related Information and ACO requests this enclosure be withheld from public disclosure pursuant to 10 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 2.390( d)(l ).
