Dear Mr. Lux:

Thank you for the copy of the subject submittal. This appears to address a possible omission in the Decommissioning Plan, Revision 3 (DPR3) regarding material control and accounting as the Licensee begins to accumulate spent resin before shipping it off-site in accordance with NRC rules.

The matter appears to address NRC regulations and not those of DEQ. DEQ has no objection to the proposed amendments to the Radiation Protection Plan (RPP).

DEQ hopes the submittal addresses the issue and helps expedite review and approval of the DPR3. Beyond this, DEQ has no other comment at this time. Please contact me at (405) 702-5132 or j.paul.davis@deq.ok.gov with any additional comments.
