OF MAY 16, 2023, TELEPHONE CALL WITH CENTRUS-AMERICAN CENTRIFUGE OPERATING, LLC.
REGARDING A SECURITY FEATURE FOR THE AMERICAN CENTRIFUGE PLANT On May 16, 2023, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff participated in a telephone conference call with staff from American Centrifuge Operating , a subsidiary of Centrus Energy Corp., to discuss whether a certain security feature will be needed for future operations planned for the American Centrifuge Plant in Piketon, Ohio. The summary of the telephone conference call is enclosed.
In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Section 2.390 of the NRCs Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure, a copy of this memorandum will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room, or from the Publicly Available Records component of the NRCs Agencywide Documents Access and Management system (ADAMS).
