By letter dated November 16, 2020 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Package Accession No. ML20329A292), NextEra Energy Point Beach, LLC (NextEra) submitted an application for subsequent renewal of Renewed Facility Operating License Nos. DPR-24 and DPR-27 for Point Beach Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2 (Point Beach), respectively, to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). In addition, NextEra submitted the first annual update to the application for subsequent license renewal by Subsequent License Renewal Application - First Annual Update|letter dated November 30, 2021]] (ADAMS Accession No. ML21334A293). NextEra submitted the second annual update to the application for subsequent license renewal by Subsequent License Renewal Application - Second Annual Update|letter dated November 28,2022]] (ADAMS Accession No. 22332A491).
The NRC staff is in the process of reviewing the second annual update. Based on the review, the NRC staff has identified the attached final request for additional information (RAI). The schedule for your response to this RAI was discussed with Mike Davis of your staff, and a mutually agreeable date for the response is within 30 days from the date of this email, or as otherwise agreed upon with the NRC Project Manager.
