Dear Nicole Flippin:
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Office of Investigations (OI) has closed the subject case regarding alleged retaliation against a former licensee employee for raising safety concerns.
The NRC determined there was insufficient evidence to substantiate the allegation that personnel at Duke Energy discriminated against a former licensee employee for raising safety concerns. We plan no further action with regard to this matter. Should you have any questions concerning this letter, please contact us.
