NRC FORM 464 Part I U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION FOIA or Reference Number Response Number (03-13-2023)

RESPONSE TO FREEDOM OF FOIA-2023-000098 1 INFORMATION ACT (FOIA) REQUEST Response Type Interim Final PART I.D -- COMMENTS We received your request on Monday, April 10, 2023. After reviewing your request, we reached out to you for additional clarification. You clarified to our office that you were seeking recent telework policies that have been implemented by the NRC since the pandemic.

As a result, we tasked the Office of the Executive Director for Operations (OEDO) for any responsive records. OEDO staff informed us that the telework policies that remain in effect may be found in two records that are already publicly available in NRC's Agencywide Documents and Access Management System (ADAMS), which is its official recordkeeping repository.

These two records are: Management Directive (MD) 10.166 and the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) between the NRC and the National Treasury Employees Union. These records' accession numbers are ML18073A302 and ML21321A264, respectively.

Records with an ML accession number are publicly available in the NRC's Public Electronic Reading Room at http:www.nrc.gov/reading-rm.html. If you need assistance in obtaining these records, please contact the NRC's Public Document Room (PDR) at 301-415-4737, or 1-800-397-4209, or by email to PDR.Resource@nrc.gov.

Finally, we note that we recently processed a FOIA request (FOIA-2023-000003) that sought a report prepared by the Hybrid Environment Assessment and Review Team (HEART), which had been tasked by the EDO to provide recommendations to agency senior leadership on how to optimize organizational health in a hybrid work environment now and in the future. If you are interested in seeing this request and the NRC's response, you may locate ithe response package in ADAMS as ML22326A259. The EDO and the senior leadership team continues to review the HEART's recommendations, particularly in light of recent Office of Management and Budget guidance, M23-15, issued on April 13, 2023.
