P R O C E E D I N G S CHAIR HANSON: Thank you operator. Good morning, I am Christopher Hanson, Chair of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and I am presiding over this public affirmation session, which is being conducted by teleconference.

Madam Secretary, I believe we have one item for affirmation. Would you please lead the Commission through?
4 BROOKE CLARK: Yes, thank you. Todays item SECY-23-0006 - Susquehanna Nuclear, LLC (Susquehanna Steam Electric Station, Units 1 and 2)Ruling on Eric Epsteins Petition to Intervene and Request for Hearing.
The Commission is being asked to act on a Memorandum and Order addressing the petition to intervene and request for a hearing submitted by Eric Epstein. In his request, Mr.
Epstein challenges the indirect license transfer application filed by Susquehanna Nuclear, LLC for the transfer of the operating licenses for Susquehanna Steam Electric Station, Units 1 and 2, and the general license for the Susquehanna independent spent fuel storage installation.
The Commission has voted to approve a Memorandum and Order that denies Mr.
Epsteins request and terminates the proceeding.
