Inspection Procedure IP71111.21N.03 first approved June 28, 2022 Technical/process and inspection implementation training completed.
Training included table-top scenarios NRC Technical/Programmatic leads identified.

No substantive changes to the inspection itself Updating revisions of guidance referenced in the IP (EPRI 3002002982, adding RG 1.250) - including most of industry comments/feedback Incorporated feedback from first inspections -
Clarity and emphasis for the information request (Appendix B of the Inspection Procedure) 3
First two inspections completed the week of February 13th at Grand Gulf and Cooper.
NRC held cross-regional review panels before the inspection reports were issued.
Inspections at Hope Creek and Catawba completed in March.
Davis Besse inspection started this week.

- Get the right people involved (Procurement Engineering).
- First time inspecting these areas, so it could be the first time many staff are interacting with the NRC. Also, could be the first time licensing/regulatory affairs licensee staff interact with procurement engineering.
- Early, clear communication between the NRC inspection team and licensee staff is essential.

If you arent sure what the NRC is looking for, ask the NRC inspectors.
- This can be new/different terminology for the NRC inspectors.
Everyone benefits when we all understand what the NRC is looking for.

- Minor violations only at Cooper (none found at Grand Gulf)
- Hope Creek and Catawba inspection results will be in the final inspection reports (Mid-May)
- NRC cross-regional panels will be conducted post-inspection.
