SRM-SECY-20-0107 direct tasking
- Lump-sum payment option to reimburse relocating inspectors for temporary quarters subsistence expenses and house-hunting expenses; implemented April 1, 2021
- Pilot lump-sum payment program that covers all relocation expenses; limited by GSA regulations, a request to GSA for the pilot rejected, will be considered for the future
- New resident inspector (RI) special pay scale for sites where locality pay is less than 20 percent of base pay; effective January 2022.
- Saved pay for 6 years cumulative vice consecutive; effective June 20, 2021
- Legislative proposal that addresses the change in the tax code; submitted, latest is a common solution is being sought across the federal government
