PETITION TO INTERVENE AND REQUEST FOR HEARING REGARDING THE LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION OF PACIFIC GAS AND ELECTRIC COMPANY FOR DIABLO CANYON INDEPENDENT SPENT FUEL STORAGE INSTALLATION (DOCKET NO. 72-26-LR)
The Office of the Secretary has received a petition to intervene and request for hearing from Dianne Curran on behalf of the San Luis Obispo Mothers for Peace. The request, which was submitted by email on March 13, 2023, and again through E-Filing on March 14, 2023, is in response to the license renewal application for the Diablo Canyon Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (Docket No. 72-26), as published in the Federal Register on January 10, 2023 (88 Fed. Reg. 1,431). The request can be found in ADAMS under accession number ML23073A382 and is also available on the Electronic Hearing Docket.
The request is being referred to you for appropriate action in accordance with 10 C.F.R.
§ 2.346(i). This referral memorandum is being served on the E-Filing service list for the Diablo Canyon Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation proceeding, Docket No. 72-26-LR.
