VENDOR INSPECTION OF NUTHERM INTERNATIONAL, INCS QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAM AND TITLE 10 OF THE CODE OF FEDERAL REGULATIONS PART 21 PROGRAM
Dear Ms. Smith:
This letter documents the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staffs plan to perform an inspection of Nutherm International Incs (Nutherm) Appendix B, Quality Assurance Program Criteria for nuclear Power Plants and Fuel Reprocessing Plants, to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) Part 50, Domestic Licensing of Production and Utilization Facilities, and 10 CFR Part 21, Reporting of Defects and Noncompliance, programs as they pertain to activities conducted at your facility related to the qualification and dedication activities associated with class 1E components supplied to operating nuclear power plants. As discussed via teleconference on March 15, 2023, the NRC inspection team plans to arrive at your facility on Monday, April 24, 2023, and will conduct the inspection through Friday, April 28, 2023.
Subsequent to the inspection, a report will be issued and transmitted to you via letter.
