Dear Mr. Conner:
In an email dated January 31, 2023, to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), from Global Nuclear Fuel - Americas, L.L.C (GNFA), you requested to terminate export license XSNM3773 and withdrawal export license application XSNM3773/01. The amendment application XSNM3773/01 requested to: 1) increase quantity to 89,900 kgs of uranium and 3,980 kgs of U-235, enriched to 4.95%; 2) add additional foreign obligations, and 3) update GNFA point of contact, to Japan for reload fuel in the Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Power Plant, Units 1 through 7. In response to your email, the NRC is terminating the active license XSNM3773 and granting withdrawal of amendment XSNM3773/01.
