Dear Mr. Schoedel:
By letter dated October 27, 2022, (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession No. ML22300A108) Westinghouse Electric Company (Westinghouse), submitted for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staffs review, EVR-PGD-OP-002, Operations and Remote Monitoring. This white paper describes a proposed aspect of the eVinci micro-reactor for which Westinghouse desires to have pre-application interactions. The NRC staff was asked to perform a review of this paper and provide written feedback. The NRC staff completed its review of the white paper and the enclosure to this letter provides the NRC staffs detailed observations for Westinghouse to consider.
The Enclosure to this letter contains proprietary information.
When separated from the Enclosure, this document is DECONTROLLED.
