By letter dated July 13, 2022 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML22195A260), X Energy LLC (X-energy) submitted Topical Report XE00-Z-ZZ-ZZ Rev. 1, Xe-100 Principal Design Criteria Licensing Topical Report, for U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff review. Based on its review, the NRC staff developed the attached set of preliminary questions to improve the NRC staffs understanding of the information included in the report.
The NRC staff requests that X-energy propose times to discuss the preliminary questions in a public meeting, which may be closed, as appropriate, to discuss proprietary information.
NRC staff availability to meet is the following:
November 30th 1-3p December 5 2-4p December 6 3-4p
In some instances, preliminary questions may support formal requests for additional information (RAIs). X-energy will be advised of the need for RAIs by separate correspondence.
