QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAM APPROVAL FOR RADIOACTIVE MATERIAL PACKAGES NO. 0088, REVISION 23
Dear Richard J. Freudenberger:
Enclosed is the revised Quality Assurance Program (QAP) Approval for Radioactive Material Packages No. 0088, Revision No. 23, in response to your request for a revision to your QAP dated December 14, 2022, (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System
[ADAMS] Accession No. ML22361A008). This approval satisfies the requirements of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) 71.17(b) and 71.101(c) for a QAP approved by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).
Termination of a materials license does not cause an approval to be automatically terminated. If you wish to amend an approval and have determined it reduces commitments, or terminate the approval, please request it in writing.
This letter also serves as a reminder that if you are using or planning to use an NRC-approved package, you must be registered for use of that package with the NRC. Registration for use of NRC-approved packages should be made pursuant to 10 CFR 71.17(c)(3).
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRCs Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure, a copy of this communication will be available electronically available for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records component of the NRCs ADAMS. The ADAMS database is accessible from the NRC website at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).
