[External_Sender] Proposed License Amendment Request, Nuclear Fuel Services, Docket No.70-143 Date:
Friday, January 20, 2023 2:13:41 PM Honorable ASLB Judges:
Hopefully, by now you have received thousands of letters objecting to the Board's failure to provide clear instructions on how non-parties (i.e.
Very Concerned Citizens) might provide comments to this very important decision. Apparently, the link provided in ADAMS document did not link to anything.
NRC regulations appear to state that making an oral or written statement may be allowed at your discretion. This seems very reasonable as this decision will impact many lives.
Reviewing information this project may be highly dangerous to the surrounding communities. We must begin to think of nuclear by products that pollute waterways and result in dangerous transportation or waste removal. We have enough nuclear weapons already. Please make time to listen to the communities that are nearby, Erwin and surrounding areas and nearby WNC. We appreciate your consideration of this matter.
