This is an Observation Meeting. This is a meeting in which attendees will have an opportunity to observe the NRC performing its regulatory function or discussing regulatory issues. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the NRC staff or make comments about the issues discussed following the business portion of the meeting; however, the NRC is not actively soliciting comments towards regulatory decisions at this meeting.
Purpose:
To discuss the annual FFD program reporting requirements in 10 CFR Part 26, review lessons learned, best practices, and use of NRC Form 890, Single Positive Test Form and NRC Form 891, Annual Reporting Form for Drug and Alcohol Tests. This meeting will help to prepare licensees and other entities for the upcoming reporting of drug and alcohol testing information to the NRC for calendar year 2022. Commercial nuclear industry representatives who complete and submit the annual FFD program performance reports to the NRC under 10 CFR 26.417 or 26.717 are encouraged to participate in this meeting. Representatives are encouraged to prepare for this meeting by reviewing NRC Forms 890 and 891 and to develop questions to ask the NRC technical staff regarding FFD reporting requirements.
