Recap of Takeaways from Hatch Audit on Dec 1, 2022 Importance: High Good afternoon Adam/Amy, The purpose of this email is to provide a quick written recap of the takeaways we discussed right before ending the Hatch audit meeting last week.

Takeaways:

1) Audit Question 3 will be answered during the Part 2 Audit Call on December 14th. NRC staff requests this to be covered at the beginning of the Part 2 call if possible to better support NRC staff availability.

2) Audit Question 2 and 3 require docketed information. SNC plans to provide this as a supplement to the LAR. Supplement date TBD.

3) There is a typo in the DEI calculations. On Pg 20 of 41, Table 3, stud condition column should state 2 untensioned and 2 failed. SNC plans to correct this as an editorial change in the supplement to the LAR.

4) In Hatch Units 1 and 2 Tech Specs, Table 1.1-1, Notes (a) and (b) mention the terms fully tensioned and less than fully tensioned. NRC staff requested SNC to provide a definition for what exactly both of these terms mean. If it is already defined, then please provide staff a reference or pointer to the explanation. Staff hopes to get this information during the Part 2 call.

5) Finally, SNC agreed to provide the relevant Part 2 documents in Certrec Portal during the week of 12/5 so that NRC staff can review the materials prior to the 12/14/22 Part 2 audit call.

Additionally, the Part 2 Audit Call will cover:

- Information requested under Part 2 of the Audit Plan,

- Item Nos. 7 through 11 in Audit Items List
