CALLAWAY PLANT - ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RESPONSE TO NRC INSPECTION REPORT 05000483/2022010 AND DISPUTED NON-CITED VIOLATION
Dear Fadi Diya:
This letter acknowledges your November 14, 2022, correspondence (Agencywide Document and Access Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML22318A188) sent in response to U.S. NRC Inspection Report 05000483/2022010-03 (ML22277A822) dated October 12, 2022.
In your letter, you dispute one non-cited violation (NCV 05000483/2022010-03) associated with the failure to perform required inservice testing of air-operated residual heat removal heat exchanger outlet and bypass valves as required by 10 CFR 50.55(a)(f). The NRC is currently reviewing your basis for contesting the violation in accordance with Section 2.8 of the Enforcement Manual. Accordingly, we will provide the results of our evaluation by written response within 90 days of the receipt of your November 14, 2022, letter.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390, Agency Rules of Practice, a copy of this letter will be made available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or in the NRCs ADAMS, accessible from the NRCs website at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html.
