CALENDAR YEAR 2022 4th QUARTER REPORT OF ACTIVITY RELATED TO UPDATED EVACUATION TIME ESTIMATES
Dear Mr. Warnock:
The following provides a status, as of December 31, 2022, of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staffs review of updated evacuation time estimate (ETE) analyses, submitted to the NRC in accordance with section IV.4 of Appendix E to Title 10, Part 50 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR Part 50). This review is intended to verify consistent application of the updated guidance contained in NUREG/CR-7002, Criteria for Development of Evacuation Time Estimate Studies, Revision 1, and does not constitute formal NRC approval of the updated ETE analyses. As such, the updated ETE analyses will remain subject to future NRC inspection.
The following ETE updates were reviewed and found to be generally consistent with the guidance in NUREG/CR-7002 and, as such, were found to be complete:
