MONTICELLO NUCLEAR GENERATING PLANT - WITHDRAWAL OF ALTERNATIVE REQUEST VR-08 (EPID L-2022-LLR-0030)
Dear Mr. Domingos:
By letter dated March 7, 2022 (Agencywide Document Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML22067A084), you submitted alternative request VR-08 for Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant. The relief request proposed an alternative to the American Society of Mechanical Engineers Operation and Maintenance Code to adopt Code Case OMN-28, Alternative Valve Position Verification Approach to Satisfy ISTC-3700 for Valves not Susceptible to Stem-Disc Separation. Subsequently, by letter dated November 10, 2022 (ML22314A102) you withdrew the alternative request.
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) acknowledges your request to withdraw the application. The NRC staffs activities associated with the review have ceased and the associated EPID L-2022-LLR-0030 has been closed.
