This is a Comment-Gathering Meeting. The purpose of this meeting is for NRC staff to meet directly with individuals to receive comments from participants on specific NRC decisions and actions to ensure that NRC staff understands their views and concerns.

Purpose:

The NRC staff will describe the environmental review for the construction permit application from Kairos Power LLC for the Hermes test reactor. The NRC staff will solicit comments from the public on the draft Environmental Impact Statement from attendees both in-person and online. An in-person only open house will precede the meeting.

This is a Comment-Gathering Meeting. The purpose of this meeting is for NRC staff to receive comments from the public on the content of the draft Environmental Impact Statement and ensure that NRC staff understands their views and concerns.

An open house will be conducted for in-person attendees only, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Interested members of the public will have approximately 3 to 5 minutes to speak, depending on the number of persons who wish to participate. Members of the public may register in advance to present oral comments by contacting the NRC by email at KairosHermes-CPEIS.Resource@nrc.gov or Brian Glowacki by phone at 301-415-7783 or email to Brian.Glowacki@nrc.gov.
