On behalf of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) , and as required by Title 42 of the United States Code 8253(e)(1 ), I am submitting to you the agency's implementation of energy and water metering efforts relevant to the office properties managed and operated by the NRC (as opposed to the facilities owned and operated by its licensees). The NRC is committed to maintaining awareness of the state of climate change science and to applying lessons to agency operations as appropriate and applicable.

Ms. Jennifer Golder, Director, Office of Administration is designated as the NRC's Chief Sustainability Officer and Senior Real Property Officer and can address questions about the agency's energy and water conservation efforts.
