SUMMARY
OF THE OCTOBER 31, 2022, OBSERVATION PUBLIC MEETING TO DISCUSS NUSCALES PROPOSED FOUR-PHASE REVIEW STRATEGY OF THE CARBON FREE POWER PROJECT COMBINED LICENSE APPLICATION The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff held an observation public preapplication meeting on October 31, 2022, with NuScale Power, LLC (NuScale) and Carbon Free Power Project (CFPP), LLC, to listen to NuScales proposed strategy to engage the NRC staff in pre-application activities in certain technical areas and the proposed four-phase review of CFPPs combined license application when submitted.
