OF THE AUGUST 23, 2022, CLOSED MEETING WITH WESTINGHOUSE ELECTRIC CORPORATION TO DISCUSS DRAFT FEEDBACK ON EVR-RXS-FL-001 REGARDING THE EVINCITM MICRO-REACTOR DESIGN The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff held a closed meeting on August 23, 2022, to discuss draft feedback on a white paper related to fuel qualification for the eVinci micro-reactor design. On May 31, 2022, Westinghouse submitted EVR-RXS-FL-001, TRISO Fuel Qualification and Testing. (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML22151A160). The NRC staff previously held a meeting with Westinghouse on June 21, 2022, to discuss the white paper contents.
The closed meeting notice can be found at ML22214A063. This meeting notice was posted on the NRC public website as a closed meeting because the white paper is withheld in its entirety as proprietary commercial information and is being withheld from public disclosure. Enclosure 1 provides the list of meeting attendees. The draft feedback shared with Westinghouse to support the discussion is in Enclosure 2.
