WASHINGTON STATE UNIVERSITY- U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION SECURITY INSPECTION REPORT NO. 05000027/2022202 Dear Mr. Hines From August 23 - 24, 2022, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff conducted a security inspection at the Washington State University Modified TRIGA Nuclear Reactor facility.
The inspection results were discussed on August 24, 2022, with you and members of your staff.
The enclosed report documents the inspection results.
The inspection examined activities conducted under your license as they relate to security, compliance with the Commission rules and regulations, and with the conditions of your license.
The inspector reviewed selected procedures and records, observed activities, and interviewed personnel. Based on the results of this inspection, no security concerns or non-compliances with NRC requirements were identified. No response to this letter is required.
In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) 2.390, Public inspections, exemptions, requests for withholding, a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the NRC's document system (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS)).
