Dear Mr. Moore:
By letter dated August 5, 2022 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML22250A515), Oklo Inc. (Oklo), submitted for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staffs review, a Standardized Operational Programs White Paper, as an enclosure to this letter. This white paper describes the approach to operations that is utilized by Oklo for its advanced fission powerhouses and includes templates for certain operational programs. On August 12, 2022, Oklo provided specific questions that it would like the NRC staff to address in its feedback. The NRC staff was asked to perform a review of this paper and provide written feedback. The enclosure to this letter provides the NRC staffs detailed observations for Oklo to consider.
