Stakeholder outreach meeting on the NRC staffs SECY- 22-0076 regarding expansion of current policy on potential common-cause failures in digital instrumentation and control systems.

The purpose of this meeting is for NRC staff to meet directly with individuals to receive comments from participants on specific NRC decisions and actions to ensure that NRC staff understands their views and concerns.

Purpose:

The purpose of the meeting is for the NRC to solicit external stakeholders feedback on the NRC staffs SECY-22-0076 to expand the current policy in SRM to SECY 93-097, to address common-cause failures in digital I&C systems. The meeting will include a presentation by the NRC staff to explain and fully engage the stakeholders in a discussion of the SECY paper. The opinions, perspectives, and feedback received at this meeting will be used to inform the development of follow-up regulatory activities and actions.
