Comment Guidelines and Rules for Facebook/Instagram 2022 Comment Guidelines The NRCs Facebook and Instagram pages are a place for constructive dialogue and information exchange on topics relevant to the agencys mission. We hope you will participate!

All comments will go up immediately but may be removed if they dont comply with the guidelines below. Repeated violation of the comment rules below could result in violators being banned from commenting. We will be reviewing comments only during regular business hours Monday through Friday. Additionally:

Comments cannot contain hate speech directed at race, color, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, ethnicity, age, religion, or disability.

Comments submitted in languages other than English will be translated using Google Translate to ensure adherence to the comment rules.

Comments cannot promote commercial services, products or political candidates, nor contain partisan rhetoric. Non-commercial links that are relevant to the topic or another comment may be acceptable.

Comments cannot be on topics outside the mission and role of the NRC.

Comments cannot include sensitive or classified information or personally identifiable information, including phone numbers.

Repetitive, duplicative comments that appear to be Spam will be removed.

Safety or security allegations should NOT be submitted via the Facebook or Instagram pages. If such comments are posted, they will be removed from the page and sent to our allegations team. Comments removed for violation of this policy are preserved pursuant to NRCs Records Management Policy and are subject to disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act.
