OF CLOSED PRE-SUBMITTAL MEETING FOR THE FUTURE SUBMITTAL OF WESTINGHOUSE ELECTRIC COMPANY TOPICAL REPORT WCAP-18773-P/NP, HIGHER ENRICHMENT FOR WESTINGHOUSE AND COMBUSTION ENGINEERING FUEL DESIGNS (PROPRIETARY/NON-PROPRIETARY) (EPID L-2022-TOP-0041)
On September 8, 2022, a closed pre-submittal virtual meeting was held between the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff and Westinghouse Electric Company (Westinghouse) representatives. The purpose of the meeting was for Westinghouse representatives to present proprietary information related to the future submittal of Westinghouse Topical Report (TR) WCAP-18773-P/NP, Higher Enrichment for Westinghouse and Combustion Engineering Fuel Designs (Proprietary/Non-Proprietary). The Westinghouse representatives provided a brief background on Westinghouses high energy fuel program and presented information related to the future submittal of WCAP-18773-P/NP including the TRs purpose, scope, and applicability. By a letter dated August 1, 2022, Westinghouse submitted an executive summary (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS)
Accession No. ML22214B821) and by a letter dated September 1, 2022, submitted the presentation slides (ADAMS Accession No. ML22244A204). The meeting was noticed on August 23, 2022, and meeting notice is available in ADAMS under ADAMS Accession No. ML22235A116. The list of attendees is enclosed.
