TheNRCstaffhasreviewedthesupplementalinformationandfoundthatTR121172NP,Rev.1,provides sufficienttechnicalinformationtoenabletheNRCstafftoconductadetailedtechnicalreview.TheNRCstaff expectstoissueitsrequestforadditionalinformation(RAI)byNovember11,2022.Thestaffplanstoissueits safetyevaluationreportwithnoopenitemsbyApril29,2023.ThescheduleassumesthatNuScalewillsubmit anacceptableresponsetothestaffRAIwithin30daysofreceivingthestaff'sRAIwithnoneedforadditional RAIs.TheNRCstaffestimatesthatthereviewwillrequireapproximately500staffhours,includingproject managementtime.ThelevelofeffortcouldchangeoncetheNRCstaffstartsdetailedreviewoftheLTR.
