VIRGIL C. SUMMER NUCLEAR STATION (VCSNS) UNIT 1 REVISED EXPECTED SUBMISSION DATE FOR SUPPLEMENT TO LICENSEE EVENT REPORT 2022-001-00 By letter dated January 14, 2022, Dominion Energy South Carolina (DESC) submitted Licensee Event Report (LEFt) 2022-001-00 [ADAMS Accession No. ML22014A292].
This report provided details concerning a manual reactor trip due to a main transformer fault at V.C. Summer Nuclear Station (VCSNS).
The purpose of this letter is to provide a revised expected submission date for the supplemental report. The failure analysis of the main transformer is still in progress. The supplemental report or an update will be provided by December 8, 2022.
