This is an Observation Meeting. This is a meeting in which attendees will have an opportunity to observe the NRC performing its regulatory function or discussing regulatory issues. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the NRC staff or make comments about the issues discussed following the business portion of the meeting; however, the NRC is not actively soliciting comments towards regulatory decisions at this meeting.
Purpose:
The purpose of this preapplication meeting is to discuss a White Paper on Instrumentation and Control Architecture to support the Construction Permit for the SMR-160 design.
Portions of this meeting may be closed to discuss proprietary information. Members of the public interested in participating in the meeting should email one of the NRC Meeting Contacts three business days before the meeting (by September 29) to obtain additional information.
