Dear Mr. Rhoades:

This letter refers to an investigation conducted by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Office of Investigations (OI) to determine whether personnel at Constellation (formerly Exelon Corporation), Chicago, Illinois willfully discriminated against a former corporate turbine engineer for raising safety concerns. Based on the evidence developed during the investigation, we did not find evidence of discrimination. The synopsis from the OI Report of Investigation is enclosed.

OI Synopsis

OI SYNOPSIS This investigation was initiated by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), Office of Investigations (OI) Region III, Lisle, IL on July 08, 2021, to determine whether personnel at Exelon Corporation (Exelon), Chicago, Illinois willfully discriminated against a former corporate turbine engineer for raising safety concerns (Allegation No. RIII-2021-A-0001).

Based on the evidence developed, the allegation that Exelon discriminated against a former corporate turbine engineer for raising safety concerns is not substantiated.
