Accession No. ML22004A333), X Energy LLC (X-energy) submitted the Topical Report XE00-R-R1ZZ-RDZZ-X-000714, Xe-100 Licensing Topical Report: Control Room Staffing Methodology, Revision2, for U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff review.
Based on its review, the NRC staff developed the attached set of preliminary questions to improve the NRC staffs understanding of the information included in the report.
The NRC staff has requested a public meeting with X-energy to discuss the preliminary questions. The meeting will be held on August 2, 2022.
In some instances, preliminary questions may support the eventual development of formal requests for additional information (RAIs). X-energy will be advised regarding any potential need for formal RAIs by separate correspondence.
