This is an Information Meeting with a Question and Answer Session. The purpose of this meeting is for the NRC staff to meet directly with individuals to discuss regulatory and technical issues. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the NRC staff or make comments about the issues discussed throughout the meeting; however, the NRC is not actively soliciting comments towards regulatory decisions at this meeting.
Purpose:
The purpose of this meeting is to present two draft appendices: Appendix K, Monetary Valuation of Nonfatal Cancer Risk for Use in Cost-Benefit Analysis, and Appendix L, Replacement Energy Costs, to NUREG/BR-0058, Regulatory Analysis Guidelines of the U.S. NRC, that are intended to provide information that the NRC staff will use in performing cost-benefit analyses in support of regulatory decisions. This meeting will facilitate public comment on the draft appendices that were issued for public comment on July 6, 2022.
