Request for Additional Information in response to letter dated April 20, 2022 Good afternoon Mr. Vanderpool, This email is in response to your letter dated April 20, 2022, requesting the an amendment to NR-1138-D-101-S to add the G10-2-BX1 sub-model to the G10 Series of devices. In order to continue with our review, we found that some additional information is required. Please address the items listed below:
- 1. Please confirm that the materials of construction used for the G10-2-BX1 are the same as those used for the other devices in the G10 Series and discuss whether there is any potential for corrosion between unlike materials.
- 2. Please confirm (1) that the seven G10-2-BX1 devices previously distributed are the exact design that has been submitted to amend NR-1138-D-101-S, and (2) that the previously distributed units had the same maximum activity.
- 3. Please confirm our understanding that the same source holder/source rod assembly that was previously approved for the other BX units is used in the G10-2-BX1.
- 4. Please discuss if the G10-2-BX1 is anchored to the floor.
Please confirm the receipt of this email and submit the requested information within 30 calendar days of the date of this email. If we have not received the complete information within 30 days, we will consider your amendment request as having been abandoned by you. This is without prejudice to the submission of a complete new amendment request.
