- Pat, Attached is an Official Use Only copy of the Draft Requests for Additional Information to support the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission review of the Global Laser Enrichment Compliance Plan submitted June 27, 2022 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession Number (ADAMS) ML22187A088). We are providing the DRAFT RAIs in advance of the NRC staffs visit tomorrow, in case you have opportunity to discuss them while the NRC staff is on site. Once you look over them and discuss them with the NRC staff, let me know if you would like to set up an additional Teams call to discuss them further. The purpose of the call would be to ensure mutual understanding of the RAIs. Let me know if no additional discussion is needed, and we will send them to you in a formal package.
This email also provides notice that the proposed completion date for review of the Compliance Plan is being revised from July 22, 2022, to September 2, 2022, to allow time to resolve the RAIs. We understand that you need the compliance plan finalized in order to finalize implementation of 32 CFR 117, due no later than September 6, 2022. If additional time is needed to come into compliance with portions of 32 CFR 117, please provide us notice with a justification consistent with the NRC letter dated March 10, 2022, (Accession No. ML22054A220).
REQUEST: Can you provide a printed copy of the draft RAIs for Keith Everly to use while he is on site.
