Joint Motion for Extension of Time to Provide Initial Disclosures On July 15, 2022, the Commission issued order CLI-22-08 granting a hearing and admitting portions of the Michigan Attorney Generals Contention MI-1 in the above-captioned proceeding. Absent an order from the Board, the parties must make the initial disclosures required by 10 CFR § 2.336 no later than Monday, August 15, 2022. Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc.,

Entergy Nuclear Palisades, LLC, Holtec International, and Holtec Decommissioning International, LLC (collectively, Applicants), and the Michigan Attorney General respectfully request that the Board extend the deadline for initial disclosures to Friday, October 14, 2022.

The Attorney Generals admitted contention relates to the license transfer application (LTA) filed by Applicants requesting transfer of the Palisades and Big Rock Point licenses and operating authority from Entergy subsidiaries to Holtec subsidiaries. Pursuant to NRC Staffs order approving the LTA, the Applicants transferred the licenses and operating authority on June 28, 2022, and Staff issued conforming amendments that same day.1 1 See Issuance of Amendment Nos. 129 and 273 Re: Order Approving Transfer of Licenses and Conforming Administrative License Amendments, June 28, 2022 (ADAMS Accession No. ML22173A179).

Following issuance of CLI-22-08, the Applicants and Michigan Attorney General consulted and agreed it is in their interest to extend the production of initial disclosures to afford additional time to discuss the most efficient means of proceeding on the admitted matters, including whether matters can be resolved. Applicants consulted with NRC Staff regarding this motion, and Staff does not oppose the requested extension.2 The undersigned, on behalf of the joint movants, respectfully requests that the Board approve the requested extension to the initial mandatory disclosures in this proceeding.

Respectfully submitted,
