SUMMER NUCLEAR STATION (VCSNS) UNIT 1 REVISED EXPECTED SUBMISSION DATE FOR SUPPLEMENT TO LICENSEE EVENT REPORT 2022-002-00 By letter dated April 11, 2022, Dominion Energy South Carolina (DESC) submitted Licensee Event Report (LER) 2022-002-00 [ADAMS Accession No. ML22101A284].
This report describes a potential condition prohibited by VCSNS Technical Spedfication 3.8.1.1 related to its 'B' Emergency Diesel Generator and is submitted in accordance with 10 CFR 50. 73(a)(2)(i)(B). The report stated that an update to the LER or notice of cancellation is expected to be available by July 21, 2022.
The purpose of this letter is to provide a revised expected submission date for the LER update or notice of cancellation, due to an ongoing independent third-party evaluation.
The LER update or cancellation will be provided by September 16, 2022.
