Weve approved license ownership changes for EnergySolutions, a company #decommissioning several #nuclear power plants, including Three Mile Island 2. The plant licenses reflect new majority ownership of company stock and are other unaffected. https://t.co/Roe23hMcm8 May 9, 2022 Last week, John Lubinski, head of our Office of Nuclear Materials Safety and Safeguards, traveled to Plymouth, Massachusetts to testify for the agency at a Congressional field hearing called by U.S. Ed Markey, chairman of the Senate panel with NRC oversight.
June 17, 2022 Congrats to some employees with a special distinction -- the first cohort to complete our Nuclear Regulator Apprenticeship Network program. They successfully completed technical training courses, seminars and assignments, finished a group project and performed apprenticeships.
