& Light Company (FPL or the applicant) submitted an application for the subsequent license renewal of Renewed Facility Operating License Nos. DPR-67 and NPF-16 for the St. Lucie Plant, Unit Nos. 1 and 2 (St. Lucie), to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). FPL submitted the application pursuant to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 54, Requirements for Renewal of Operating Licenses for Nuclear Power Plants, for subsequent license renewal.

The NRC staff is in the process of reviewing your application. Based on the review, the NRC staff has identified the attached final requests for additional information (RAIs). The schedule for your response to this RAI was discussed with William Maher of your staff, and a mutually agreeable date for the response is within 30 days from the date of this email, or as otherwise agreed upon with the NRC Project Manager.
