OF JULY 5 AND 6, 2022, TELEPHONE CALLS WITH CENTRUS-AMERICAN CENTRIFUGE OPERATING, LLC REGARDING ITS 32 CFR PART 117 (NISPOM RULE) COMPLIANCE On July 5 and 6, 2022, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff participated in two telephone conference calls with staff from American Centrifuge Operating (ACO), a subsidiary of Centrus Energy Corp., to discuss ACOs license amendment request involving changes to its security plans resulting from the application of Title 32 of the Code of Federal Regulations (32 CFR), Part 117. The summaries of the telephone conference calls are enclosed.
In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Section 2.390 of the NRCs Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure, a copy of this memorandum will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room, or from the Publicly Available Records component of the NRCs Agencywide Documents Access and Management system (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC website at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html the Public Electronic Reading Room.
