On March 12, 2012, the NRC staff issued a letter entitled "Request for Information Pursuant to Title 1O of the Code of Federal Regulations 50.54(f) Regarding Recommendations 2.1, 2.3, and 9.3 of the Near-Term Task Force Review of Insights from the Fukushima Dai-ichi Accident," which included considerations associated with Enclosure 5, Emergency Preparedness Staffing, Near-Term Task Force (NTTF) Recommendation 9.3.

The Enclosure contains the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant Units 3 and 4 "Fukushima Response NEI 12-01 On-Shift Staffing Analysis Phase 2 Report, Revision 3.0, Standard Emergency Plan Annex , Revision 6.0" performed in accordance with NEI 12-01 , "Guideline for Assessing Beyond Design Basis Accident Response Staffing and Communications Capabilities". NEI 12-01 has been endorsed by the N RC (Adams Accession No. ML12131A043) as an acceptable method to employ when responding to the 10 CFR 50.54(f) letters regarding NTTF Recommendation 9.3.

The enclosure (staffing analysis) is being submitted separately from the cover letter in this transmittal , replacing the June 3, 2022, version of ND-22-0328, "Fukushima Response NEI 12-01 On-Shift Staffing Analysis Phase 2 Report, Revision 3.0, Standard Emergency Plan Annex, Revision 6.0" (ML22154A480).

This letter contains no regulatory commitments. This letter has been reviewed and determined not to contain security-related information.
