Dear Mr. Todd:
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Office of Investigations (OI) has closed the subject case regarding whether Auxiliary Unit Operator (AUO) rounds were willfully falsified by a System Operator (SO) and if a Shift Operations Manager (SOM) was aware of the alleged falsification.
The NRC determined there was insufficient evidence to substantiate the allegation that AUO rounds were willfully falsified by a system operator and that a SOM was aware of the alleged falsification.
We plan no further action with regard to this matter. Should you have any questions concerning this letter, please contact us.
