OF JUNE 1, 2022, TELEPHONE CALL WITH CENTRUS-AMERICAN CENTRIFUGE OPERATING, LLC REGARDING ITS REQUEST FOR AN INTERIM AUTHORITY TO OPERATE ITS DISTRIBUTED CONTROL SYSTEM On June 1, 2022, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff participated in a telephone conference call with staff from American Centrifuge Operating (ACO), a subsidiary of Centrus Energy Corp., to discuss the ACO request for an Interim Authority To Operate for its Distributed Control System at its Piketon, Ohio facility. Enclosed is a telephone call summary for your use. The summary contains Official Use Only - Security-Related Information (OUO-SRI).
In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Section 2.390 of the NRCs Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure, a copy of this memorandum will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room, or from the Publicly Available Records component of the NRCs Agencywide Documents Access and Management system (ADAMS).
