HomeBio - Scot Sullivan Scot Sullivan F. Scot Sullivan joined the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) in 2008 as a Security Specialist. Prior to joining the NRC, Scot worked in the Nuclear Industry holding various positions related to the protection of nuclear power reactors, ranging from Response Team Leader to Security Shift Supervisor. Since joining the NRC, he has worked in the Office of Nuclear Security and Incident Response for the Division of Security Operations in the Nuclear Security Oversight and Support Branch. During this time, he has performed oversight of the Security Baseline and Core Inspection Programs, his work has encompassed developing inspection programs, significance determination processes, and maintaining the security inspection programs for new reactors, operating reactors, and decommissioning reactors, materials licensees and fuel cycle facilities. Scot has also conducted international bilateral physical protection assessments ensuring the protection standards for US obligated material are maintained. Through his contributions to the NRCâ's security oversight program, his work has led to continuous improvement in security at NRC-licensed facilities.
