U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Operations Center Report This report may contain "law enforcement sensitive" information Please do not relay this information to individuals who do not have a "need to know" SID-03101 Perry 2021-12-04 23 :20 Drone OH Power Reactor - Operating Kerby Scales On December 4, 2021, a Perry Nuclear security guard noticed two drones flying over the Protective Area. It was dark and the guard could not identify the shape or any markings on the drone. The guard shined a laser pointer at the drones and one exited the protective area flying west and the other exited southeast. The licensee notified the dispatch centers for Lake County local law enforcement and the FAA.

The licensee will be notifying the NRG Resident Inspector.

Notified R3DO (Stoedter) and IL TAB via email.

This report is open pending IL TAB/IL TAT review. ILTAB/ILTATwill update or close this report when appropriate.
